Carrot is packed with nutrients, along with dates, it will become a superfood. Adding nuts to our daily diet is good for our body. But not all the time we will have the nuts, sometimes we will forget to have it. Blending nuts and dry fruits into the juice is an easy way to intake.

This drink is very much helpful for the people who always work with the computer, and people always watch phones. Eyes are getting tired and dried up due to this work. For keeping the eyes healthy we can have this kind of juices (healthy drink recipe) more often. It is a healthy juice for the growing kids, we can increase the sweetness depends upon their taste.

Ingredients Method

Ingredients
  

  • 1 carrot (100 gram)
  • 4 almonds (badam)
  • 4 dates
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice (juice from 1/2 of the lemon) or up to your taste
  • 1 tsp honey

Method
 

soaking:
  1. In a bowl, take 4 almonds and 4 dates.
    Pour 1/2 cup of hot water
  2. soak it for 15 minutes
Blending:
  1. In a blender jar, put the chopped carrot
  2. pour in soaked almonds and dates with soaked water
  3. squeeze 1/2 lemon
  4. blend it into a fine paste. again pour in 1/2 cup of water and give a pulse
  5. filter the blended carrot mixture
  6. Add 1 tsp of honey and mix well
  7. And serve cold or normal temperature

Stepwise Picture Recipe:

In a bowl, take 4 almonds and 4 dates.
Pour 1/2 cup of hot water

Soak it for 15 minutes

take the carrot wash and wipe, and then peel off

chop the carrot

Put the carrot into the blender jar,
Next, pour in almond and dates with soaked water
And then, squeeze 1/2 lemon

Blend into a fine paste

Next pour in 1/2 cup of water, and a give a pulse
Now filter it using a strainer
add 1 tsp of honey into the carrot juice and mix well

Now the carrot drink is ready to serve

serve it normal temperature or in cold condition

Note:

  • For soaking almonds and dates, if you want to make this drink immediately, soak it in hot water. Otherwise, soak it in normal water for 40 minutes. If you are going to make it for your breakfast, you can soak it overnight.
  • adding honey is optional
  • you can increase or decrease the quantity of lemon juice based on your taste
  • Instead of almonds you can add any nuts of your choice
