Ingredients
  

  • ½ cup peanut (raw)(unroasted)
  • 350 gram chayote
  • 1 tbsp oil
  • ½ tsp mustard seeds
  • ½ tsp cumin
  • 2 garlic cloves
  • 1 green chilly
  • 1 onion(chopped)
  • 1 tomato(chopped)
  • 1 tsp coriander powder
  • 1 tsp Kashmiri red chili powder
  • ½ tsp turmeric powder
  • ½ tsp garam masala powder
  • salt to taste

Instructions
 

  • Firstly, take ½ cup of peanuts, pour in hot water to immerse, soak it for 30 minutes
  • Meanwhile, secondly, wash, wipe and peel off the chayote, cut into medium-sized pieces
  • Heat the oil in a pressure cooker, splutter mustard seeds, cumin. Add garlic and green chilly, saute
  • Add chopped onion, fry it becomes translucent
  • Now add chopped tomato, saute
  • Add spice powders 1 tsp of coriander powder, 1 tsp Kashmiri red chili powder, ½ tsp of garam masala powder, ½ tsp turmeric powder
  • Fry it for 30 seconds in low flame just to get rid off raw smell
  • add chopped chayote and soaked peanut
  • pour ½ cup of water, give it a mix
  • add ½ tsp of salt now
  • pressure cook it for 3 whistles
  • After pressure releases, open the lid, add salt if it's needed, It is done
