Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup aval/ poha white/ red
  • ¾ cup jaggery powdered
  • ¼ cup shredded coconut
  • ¼ tsp cardamom powder
  • 1 tbsp ghee
  • 1 tbsp cashews

Instructions
 

  • Firstly, take 1 cup of aval / poha in a blender jar, blend it into a coarse powder
  • Transfer this coarse powdered aval/ poha into a mixing bowl
  • Sprinkle little water twice and mix well using hands
  • Let it sit for 5 minutes, and again sprinkle some water, mix it, cover it and keep aside for later use
  • Heat ghee in a pan, fry the cashews to golden brown color, keep aside

Making Jaggery syrup:

  • Take ¾ cup of jaggery into a pan, pour ½ cup of water, turn on the heat, dissolve it well by stirring
  • Once it is dissolved well, strain the jaggery and pour into another pan
  • Now heat it well till it reaches softball consistency, as shown in the picture. turn off the flame
  • Then add shredded coconut and cardamom powder, mix well
  • Now add the poha and mix well
  • Add fried cashew with the ghee in the pan, mix well, cover it let it sit for 10 minutes,
    it is done
