Firstly, heat the 2 tbsp of butter in a pressure cooker
Add in the bay leaf and garlic cloves, saute
Now add chopped onion and saute
Then add chopped 500 gram pumpkin and saute
Pour in 2 cups of water, cover the lid and pressure cook for 2 whistles
open the lid and add ½ tsp of salt and ½ tsp pepper
Take of the bay leaf from the pressure cooked pumpkin
using a strainer, strain the cooked pumpkin, reserve the veggie stock for later use
After the cooked pumpkin got cooled well, blend the cooked pumpkin smoothly
transfer the pumpkin paste from blender jar to a container
Now add in veggie stock 1 or 2 cups to pumpkin paste
Garnish with cream, add salt and pepper if it is necessary
