Ingredients

urad dal

onion(chopped)

garlic pods

broccoli stalk (thinly sliced)
1
tomato (chopped)
a small piece of tamarind
for sesaoning:
½
tbsp
oil
½
tsp
mustard
1
dry red chilly
A pinch of asafoetida
curry leaves
Instructions
Heat 1 tbsp of oil in a pan, add in 2 tsp of urad dal, 3 dry chilly, onion, 2 garlic pods. saute
Next, add thinly sliced broccoli stem tomato and tamarind
saute it till the broccoli stem becomes soft, then turn off the flame
Let this mixture to cool
transfer it to a blender jar, blend it finely with salt and water
pour it in a serving bowl
for seasoning:
Heat ½ tbsp of oil, splutter mustard seeds, add dry red chilly, turn off the flame, now add asafoetida and curry leaves
pour this mixture over the chutney and give good mix before serving
