chapati noodles recipe | roti noodles

Ingredients
  

  • 5 number chapati
  • 2 tbsp oil
  • 2 chopped garlic
  • 1 tsp chopped ginger
  • 1 green chilly
  • ¼ cup onion (chopped) 1/2 onion
  • ¼ cup spring onion
  • ¼ cup carrot (julienned)
  • ¼ cup cabbage (julienned)
  • ¼ cup capsicum (julienned)
  • 1 tbsp vinegar
  • 1 tbsp soya sauce (light)
  • 1 tsp pepper
  • 1 tsp sweet chilly sauce
  • salt to taste

Method
 

chopping the roti into noodles
  1. Firstly, take a big knife, chop the rotis like long strips, and keep aside
chopping the vegetables:
  1. chop all the vegetables into thin slices (julienned) and keep aside
Making chapati noodles/ roti noodles:
  1. Heat the 1 tbsp of oil in a pan, add in 1 tsp of chopped garlic cloves, 1 tsp of ginger
  2. Next, add ¼ cup of onion, saute well
  3. then add carrot, cabbage, capsicum saute well with 1/2 tsp of sugar
  4. In next stage pour in 1 tbsp of vinegar, 1 tbsp of light soya sauce, 1 tsp of crushed pepper, mix
  5. Now add the chapati strips
  6. add 1 tsp (or more) of sweet chilly sauce, give a mix
  7. finally, add a handful of chopped spring onion (2 tbsp) and serve
