Ingredients
  

For marination:

  • 750 gram chicken
  • 1 tbsp pepper
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • ½ tsp turmeric powder
  • 2 inch ginger chopped chopped like strips
  • ½ tsp salt

For making ginger chicken curry:

  • ¼ cup oil
  • 1 bay leaf
  • 1 star anise
  • 2 green chilly
  • 4 garlic cloves finely chopped
  • 1 onion thinly chopped
  • 1 tomato ginely chopped
  • 1 tbsp curd | yoghurt

Instructions
 

For marination:

  • Take the washed chicken in a bowl, put, salt, pepper, ginger chopped, lemon juice, and turmeric powder
  • give a nice mix
  • Put the lid on, keep refrigerated for a minimum 1 hour or overnight

For making ginger chicken curry:

  • Heat ¼ cup of oil in a pan, put the onion, green chilly, garlic cloves. Saute well
  • Next, add marinated chicken, keep stirring for 10 minutes,
  • and then add 1 tomato chopped and 1 tbsp of curd, stir
  • Put the lid on, cook it in low flame for 20 minutes
  • After 20 minutes, open the lid, do a quick stir, turn off the flame, garnish with ginger julienne.
