Ingredients
  

For cooking couscous:
  • 2 tbsp couscous
  • 1 cup water
  • pinch of salt
For egg fried couscous with veg:
  • 2 tbsp oil
  • 2 tbsp chopped onion
  • 2 tbsp chopped capsicum
  • 2 tbsp shredded carrot
  • 2 tbsp chopped cabbage
  • ¼ tsp turmeric powder
  • 1 egg
  • ½ tsp cumin powder
  • 1 tsp pepper powder
  • salt to taste

Method
 

cooking couscous:
  1. take 2 tbsp of couscous in 1 cup of water, boil for 5 minutes, and then drain off the excess water. Keep the cooked couscous aside for later use
egg fried couscous with veg:
  1. Heat 2 tbsp of oil, saute, onion, carrot, capsicum, and cabbage well
  2. add a pinch of salt and ¼ tsp of turmeric powder, and saute until veg becomes soft
  3. crack the egg, add ½ tsp of cumin powder, 1 tsp of pepper powder, and salt, and saute
  4. finally, add cooked couscous and mix well. Now the egg-fried couscous with veg is ready to serve.
