1/2cupcapsicumchopped into square-shaped (half of one capsicum)
1tsplight soya sauce
3tbsptomato sauce
1tspcornflour - mixed in 3 tbsp of water
½tsppepper powder
salt to taste
Instructions
for flour mixture:
To begin with, take 3 tbsp of all-purpose flour and 1 tbsp of cornflour in a bowl.Add 1 tsp ginger garlic paste, 1 tsp of pepper powder, 1/2 tsp of salt
Mix it with 1/2 cup of water
for frying the idli:
dice the idli into small pieces (cubes)
Dip the idli pieces into the flour mixture
Deep fry the cubes in the oil until the outer layer becomes crisp
and then take off and keep aside
For making idli manchurian:
In a pan, heat 1 tbsp of oil, add 1tsp of chopped garlic and 1 tsp of chopped ginger, 1 green chilly chopped. Saute it for a while
Now add-in onion and capsicum chopped, saute well
Meanwhile, add 1 tsp of sugar and saute it well
Next add 1 tsp light soya sauce, 3 tbsp of tomato sauce, give a mix
In a bowl, add 1 tsp of cornflour and 3 tbsp of water, mix wellPour this mixture in the pan, saute it medium flame until it becomes creamy.
Now add fried idli pieces, 1/2 tsp of pepper powder, and adjust with salt
Then add 2 tbsp of chopped spring onion and mix well. And it is done.
