Method
for flour mixture:
- To begin with, take 3 tbsp of all-purpose flour and 1 tbsp of cornflour in a bowl.Add 1 tsp ginger garlic paste, 1 tsp of pepper powder, 1/2 tsp of salt
- Mix it with 1/2 cup of water
for frying the idli:
- dice the idli into small pieces (cubes)
- Dip the idli pieces into the flour mixture
- Deep fry the cubes in the oil until the outer layer becomes crisp
- and then take off and keep aside
For making idli manchurian:
- In a pan, heat 1 tbsp of oil, add 1tsp of chopped garlic and 1 tsp of chopped ginger, 1 green chilly chopped. Saute it for a while
- Now add-in onion and capsicum chopped, saute well
- Meanwhile, add 1 tsp of sugar and saute it well
- Next add 1 tsp light soya sauce, 3 tbsp of tomato sauce, give a mix
- In a bowl, add 1 tsp of cornflour and 3 tbsp of water, mix wellPour this mixture in the pan, saute it medium flame until it becomes creamy.
- Now add fried idli pieces, 1/2 tsp of pepper powder, and adjust with salt
- Then add 2 tbsp of chopped spring onion and mix well. And it is done.
