Heat 2 tbsp of oil in a pan, splutter 1 tsp of mustard seeds, and cumin seeds. Add in dry red chilly and green chilly, curry leaves, garlic cloves, shallots. saute well
Next, add chopped ridge gourd, salt, saute well
And then add 1 tsp of coriander powder and 1 tsp of chilly powder, 1/4 tsp of turmeric powder, just mix for 30 seconds in low flame
next add 1 tomato chopped, mix well, cover and cook for 5 minutes
then add cooked dal and mix well
bring into boil, boil it for few minutes
and then turn off the flame, add coriander leaves.
Serve with rice with ghee.(and also with rotis too)
