Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup aval/ poha white/ red
  • ¾ cup jaggery powdered
  • ¼ cup shredded coconut
  • ¼ tsp cardamom powder
  • 1 tbsp ghee
  • 1 tbsp cashews

Method
 

  1. Firstly, take 1 cup of aval / poha in a blender jar, blend it into a coarse powder
  2. Transfer this coarse powdered aval/ poha into a mixing bowl
  3. Sprinkle little water twice and mix well using hands
  4. Let it sit for 5 minutes, and again sprinkle some water, mix it, cover it and keep aside for later use
  5. Heat ghee in a pan, fry the cashews to golden brown color, keep aside
Making Jaggery syrup:
  1. Take ¾ cup of jaggery into a pan, pour ½ cup of water, turn on the heat, dissolve it well by stirring
  2. Once it is dissolved well, strain the jaggery and pour into another pan
  3. Now heat it well till it reaches softball consistency, as shown in the picture. turn off the flame
  4. Then add shredded coconut and cardamom powder, mix well
  5. Now add the poha and mix well
  6. Add fried cashew with the ghee in the pan, mix well, cover it let it sit for 10 minutes,
    it is done
