Method
Making dough:
- In a mixing bowl, add 2 cups of all-purpose flour, 1 tbsp of rava/ sooji, 1 tsp of sugar, ½ tsp of salt, ¼ tsp of baking soda,
- Mix well then add 1 tbsp of ghee/ oil, give a mix
- and then add ½ cup of curd, give a mix
- Next, add warm water and knead for 5 minutes
- pour some oil over it, cover it and rest it for 2 hours
After 2 hours:
- take a small portion from it, make a perfect ball,
- dust the rolling pad with flour, place this ball over it, roll it into a medium-thick sheet, you can make circle shaped sheet or oval of your choice
- when the oil got heated, gently place the sheet inside, press it to immerse in oil, once it is puffed, flip the side, and then take off
- bhature is ready, serve it hot
