Ingredients
  

  • 2 cup all-purpose flour (maida)
  • 1 tbsp rava (sooji)
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ¼ tsp baking soda
  • 1 tbsp oil/ ghee
  • ½ cup curd
  • oil for deep frying

Instructions
 

Making dough:

  • In a mixing bowl, add 2 cups of all-purpose flour, 1 tbsp of rava/ sooji, 1 tsp of sugar, ½ tsp of salt, ¼ tsp of baking soda,
  • Mix well then add 1 tbsp of ghee/ oil, give a mix
  • and then add ½ cup of curd, give a mix
  • Next, add warm water and knead for 5 minutes
  • pour some oil over it, cover it and rest it for 2 hours

After 2 hours:

  • take a small portion from it, make a perfect ball,
  • dust the rolling pad with flour, place this ball over it, roll it into a medium-thick sheet, you can make circle shaped sheet or oval of your choice
  • when the oil got heated, gently place the sheet inside, press it to immerse in oil, once it is puffed, flip the side, and then take off
  • bhature is ready, serve it hot
