Method
- Heat 1 tbsp of oil in a pan, add in 2 tsp of urad dal, 3 dry chilly, onion, 2 garlic pods. saute
- Next, add thinly sliced broccoli stem tomato and tamarind
- saute it till the broccoli stem becomes soft, then turn off the flame
- Let this mixture to cool
- transfer it to a blender jar, blend it finely with salt and water
- pour it in a serving bowl
for seasoning:
- Heat ½ tbsp of oil, splutter mustard seeds, add dry red chilly, turn off the flame, now add asafoetida and curry leaves
- pour this mixture over the chutney and give good mix before serving
