Ingredients
  

  • 1 tbsp ghee
  • 1 tbsp broken cashew pieces
  • 3 cup shredded coconut
  • cup sugar
  • ¼ tsp cardamom powder

Instructions
 

Blend:

  • Firstly, take the 3 cups of shredded coconut in a blender
  • Blend it to get a small shred of coconut and keep aside

To make burfi:

  • Heat 1 tbsp 0of ghee in a pan
  • Add in cashew pieces, roast it till it becomes slightly brown, and then take off
  • In the pan with the same ghee, add in blended coconut shred, fry it in medium flame for 2 minutes
  • Now add 1½ cup of sugar and mix
  • Sugar melts and oozes out moisture, keep stirring at medium flame
  • At one stage all the moisture has gone, the mixture gathers as a mass
  • In that stage, add 1/4 tsp of cardamom powder, and fried cashews and mix well
  • Immediately transfer the mixture into parchment sheet overlaid tray
  • spread and level it up
  • Leave it for 10 minutes
  • then cut into pieces, and serve
