Ingredients
  

  • 1 tbsp ghee
  • 1 tbsp broken cashew pieces
  • 3 cup shredded coconut
  • cup sugar
  • ¼ tsp cardamom powder

Method
 

Blend:
  1. Firstly, take the 3 cups of shredded coconut in a blender
  2. Blend it to get a small shred of coconut and keep aside
To make burfi:
  1. Heat 1 tbsp 0of ghee in a pan
  2. Add in cashew pieces, roast it till it becomes slightly brown, and then take off
  3. In the pan with the same ghee, add in blended coconut shred, fry it in medium flame for 2 minutes
  4. Now add 1½ cup of sugar and mix
  5. Sugar melts and oozes out moisture, keep stirring at medium flame
  6. At one stage all the moisture has gone, the mixture gathers as a mass
  7. In that stage, add 1/4 tsp of cardamom powder, and fried cashews and mix well
  8. Immediately transfer the mixture into parchment sheet overlaid tray
  9. spread and level it up
  10. Leave it for 10 minutes
  11. then cut into pieces, and serve
