coriander leaves pulao

Ingredients
  

for grinding:
  • 1 cup coriander leaves
  • 4 green chilly or more upto your taste
For pulao:
  • 3 tbsp ghee or oil
  • 1 bay leaf <-- whole spices
  • 1 cinnamon
  • 3 cloves
  • 1 tsp black cumin
  • 4 green cardamom--->
  • 1 tbsp ginger-garlic paste
  • 1 green chilly
  • 1 onion (medium-sized) (chopped)
  • 1 cup basmati rice soaked for 20 minutes
  • 1 cup coconut milk
  • ½ cup water
  • salt to taste

Method
 

for grinding:
  1. In a blender jar, 1 cup of coriander leaves, 4 green chilly
  2. blend it coarsely & keep aside
For pulao:
  1. Heat 3 tbsp of ghee or oil in a pressure cooker, add all the whole spices
  2. Next, add chopped onion, saute it till it becomes slightly brown
  3. Now cashew, saute, then 1 tbsp ginger garlic paste
  4. Now add in the ground coarse paste and saute well
  5. Then add 1 cup of rice soaked it for 20 minutes, give a mix
  6. pour in 1 cup of coconut milk and ½ cup of water
  7. add 2 tsp of lemon juice
  8. Add enough salt
  9. Put the lid on, pressure cook it for 2 whistle in medium flame
  10. Open the lid after pressure released,
  11. fluff the rice with a spoon, and it is done
