  • 3 Almonds (or 2 tbsp roasted gram)
  • 2 tsp poppy seed
  • 1 inch cinnamon
  • 3 cloves
  • 1 tsp fennel seeds
for making Kurma/ korma:
  • 2 tbsp oil
  • 1 bay leaf
  • 1 star anise
  • 1 green chilly
  • 1 onion (thinly sliced)
  • 1 tbsp ginger garlic paste
  • 1 tsp coriander powder
  • ½ tsp Kashmiri red chilly powder
  • 2 tbsp coriander leaves (finelychopped)
