Ingredients

cup
green moong dal / green gram
½
cup
urad dal
½
cup
idly rice

tbsp
chana dal
¼

fenugreek seeds
salt to taste
Instructions
Rinsing and Soaking:
Take 1 cup of green moong dal, ½ cup of urad dal, ½ cup of idly rice, 1 tbsp of chana dal, and ¼ tsp of fenugreek seeds in a bowl
Rinse thrice or more times till the water getting clear in the bowl
Soak it with enough water for
6 hours or overnight
Blending:
After 6 hours or overnight, drain off the water from the bowl
blend finely it with some ice cubes along with water or using ice water
Bring the batter to dosa batter consistency by adding water
Add salt and mix. Now the dosa batter is ready
For making dosa:
After thoroughly clean the dosa pan with tissue, heat it well, then reduce to lower flame, again clean it with tissue.
And then pour a ladle of dosa batter and spread
Drizzle some oil/ ghee/ butter (keep the flame low for crispy dosa)
Cover it with lid for few seconds
take off the lid, once the dosa got slightly brown at the sides, carefully take it with dosa ladle
