Ingredients
  

  • cup barnyard millet
  • 1 cup urad dal (split)
  • A pinch fenugreek seeds

Method
 

Making battter:
  1. wash and soak 1½ cup of barnyard millet, 1 cup of urad dal (split) seperately for 2 hours
  2. blend it into a smooth batter
  3. ferment it for 8 hours or overnight
  4. after fermented well, make idli asusual.
