Ingredients
  

  • cup barnyard millet
  • 1 cup urad dal (split)
  • A pinch fenugreek seeds

Instructions
 

Making battter:

  • wash and soak 1½ cup of barnyard millet, 1 cup of urad dal (split) seperately for 2 hours
  • blend it into a smooth batter
  • ferment it for 8 hours or overnight
  • after fermented well, make idli asusual.
