Method
For deep-frying:
- In a mixing bowl, take ¼ cup of all-purpose flour (maida), ¼ cup of cornflour, 1 tsp of pepper powder, ½ tsp of salt. Mix well
- Then add approximately ¼ cup of water and make medium thick batter for coating mushrooms
- Put chopped mushrooms in the batter and gently mix it with hand
- fry it in the oil until it becomes slightly brown. And keep aside
For mushroom pepper fry:
- Heat 1 tbsp of oil, put chopped onion, chopped garlic, 1 green chilly, saute for a minute, and then add chopped capsicum
- Next, add 1/2 tsp of sugar and saute for few minutes or until the onion and capsicum pieces get caramelized. Now add 1/4 tsp of salt,
- Pour in 2 tsp of light soya sauce and 2 tbsp of water.
- then add fried mushroom pieces and mix well
- Finally, add pepper powder and mix well
- Garnish with chopped spring onions.
