Ingredients
½
cup
unroasted peanut
2
dry red chilly
a small size tamarind
salt as required
For Tempering:
1
tbsp
oil
½
tsp
mustard seeds
few
curry leaves
½
tsp
urad dhal
¼
tsp
asafoetida
Instructions
roasting the peanuts:
firstly dry roast the 1/2 cup of peanuts in medium flame for 5 minutes
Transfer this peanut into plate, remove the husk (just do it outside of the house, otherwise it would end up with the house messy)
blending:
Add this unhusk peanut into blender jar
Now add ¼ cup coconut, 2 red chilly, tamarind, salt
Blend it into a smooth paste with little water
For Tempering:
Heat 1 tbsp of oil in a pan, crackle mustard seeds, add urad dhal, curry leaves, and asafoetida
Pour this over chutney and mix
