Ingredients
For pressure cooking moong dhal:

garlic cloves (chopped)

For making mint moong dhal:

mustard seeds

tsp
cumin seeds

dry red chilly

onion (chopped)

mint leaves (chopped)

Kashmiri red chilly
salt to taste

Instructions
For pressure cooking moong dhal
In a pressure cooker add washed ½ cup of moong dhal, chopped garlic, ¼ tsp of turmeric powder, ¼ tsp of ghee, 1½ cup of water
Lid on, pressure cook for 3 whistles in medium flame
open the lid after pressure releases and keep aside
For making mint moong dhal:
Heat 1 tbsp of oil splutter ½ tsp of mustard seeds, add ½ tsp of cumin, red chilly and asafoetida
Add chopped onion, saute it till it becomes glossy
Now add chopped 1/2 cup of mint leaves, saute it in low flame for 30 seconds
Then add ½ tsp of Kashmiri red chilly powder, mix well for 30 seconds in low flame
Now add cooked moong dhal, add salt at this stage
pour in 1½ cup of water, mix well bring into a boil, turn off the flame, it is done
