Method
For making rasam:
- Firstly, take 2½ cup in a pan, and heat it up
- Add in ½ tsp of tumeric powder, 1 tsp of peppercorns, ½ cup of tamarind extract. Now boil it for 5 minutes
For seasoning:
- Heat 1 tbsp of oil in a tadka pan, splutter ½ tsp of mustard seeds, add in ½ tsp of cumin seeds, 2 crushed garlic, ½ tsp of pepper crushed, 1 kashmiri red chilly, few curry leaves, A pinch of asafoetida.
- Add this seasoning mixture in rasam in mix well
- finally add in ½ tsp of jaggery powder in the rasam and mix well.
