Sweet Corn Vada

Ingredients
  

For grinding:
  • 1 cup Sweet corn(steamed/ boiled)
  • 1 tsp fennel seeds
  • 1 green chilly
  • 1 Kashmiri red chilly
For mixing:
  • ¼ cup besan flour
  • ¼ cup rice flour
  • 1 tbsp ginger garlic paste/ crushed
  • 1 onion (finely chopped)
  • ¼ cup coriander leaves(finely chopped)
  • 1 string curry leaves(finely chopped)
  • oil for deep frying
  • salt to taste

Method
 

For grinding:
  1. In a blender jar, put 1 tsp fennel seeds, 1 green chilly, 1 Kashmiri red chilly. Blend it coarsely first.
  2. Then add 1 cup boiled sweet corn in the same blender, blend it coarsely
For mixing:
  1. In a mixing bowl, add ground paste
  2. Then add ¼ cup besan flour, ¼ cup rice flour, and add salt
  3. Now add, ginger garlic paste, chopped onion, chopped coriander leaves, and curry leaves
    Mix well
  4. Apply some oil over your palms, take a small portion from the mixture, make a ball, press it by placing it on another palm to make a patty
  5. Heat the oil for deep frying, once it is heated, keep the flame in medium, fry those patties to golden brown color
