Ingredients
  

For making dough:
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour maida
  • 2 tbsp ghee
  • A pinch of salt
  • water as required
For making sugar syrup:
  • 1 cup sugar
  • ½ cup water
  • ¼ tsp cardamom powder
  • 1 tsp lemon juice
for frying:
  • oil for deep frying

Method
 

For making dough:
  1. In a mixing bowl, take 1 cup of all-purpose flour, add a pinch of salt and mix
  2. Now add 2 tbsp of ghee, and mix to get the crumbled texture of the dough
  3. after this add water little by little to make a tight dough just like poori dough
  4. cover and rest it for 20 minutes
For making sugar syrup:
  1. In a pan, pour ½ cup water and 1 cup sugar
  2. heat it for 5 minutes
  3. And then add cardamom powder and mix well
  4. add 1 tsp of lemon juice and give a quick mix
after 20 minutes:
  1. After 20 minutes, Take a rolling board, apply some oil over it
  2. Take the dough, divide it into half
  3. place the one half, roll into a medium-thin sheet
  4. Use a cookie cutter or small bowl, make the circle shape and take off and keep aside. Also, make some small cylindrical shaped dough and keep aside
  5. Repeat the same for another half of the dough
  6. Keep the circle-shaped dough and cylindrical shaped dough
Making roses:
  1. Place the two circle-shaped dough one on one
  2. make a dent at the center using the index finger
  3. then place the cylindrical shaped dough over it
  4. cut the edges circular-shaped dough vertically into 4 parts, without affecting the centre
  5. then fold it like the rose petals as shown in the picture and videos
frying:
  1. Heat oil, fry the roses in medium flame to mild golden brown color
dipping in sugar syrup:
  1. put the fried roses into the sugar syrup for 3 minutes and then take off and serve
