The strawberry jam recipe is a second recipe next to strawberry popsicles in the blog with strawberries. It is a great thing to make up our much-needed stuff at home instead of buying it in shops. So our homemade strawberry jam has no artificial colors and preservatives. Making this jam at home has one more benefit which is we can adjust the amount of sugar as per our taste. Due to this reason, I always prefer to make it at home.
It has a moderate level of sugar, and no chemicals, so we can have guilt-free eats in the mornings when we have bread and strawberry jam

Ingredients
- 400 gram strawberry (hulled & chopped)
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
Instructions
- Before starting the preparation work, keep ceramic or steel plate inside the freezer
- Firstly, hull the strawberries using a knife
- Then remove the seeds embedded over the strawberries if you feel it is really hard
- In pan, Take the hulled and chopped strawberries into it
- add 1 cup of sugar in it
- mix it in low flame till the sugar melts
- Add 1 tbsp of lemon juice
- keep stirring in medium flame
- Mash the strawberries while stirring
- the strawberry sugar mixture getting thickening, keep stirring
- once it reaches the jam consistency turn off the flame
- after it gets cooled completely, finally transfer into glass jar
- store it in refrigerator

Note:
- before starting the process of making jam, keep the steel/ ceramic plate inside the refrigerator, it should be inside the fridge at least 30 min
- The sweet level is medium in this recipe if you want you can increase the sugar quantity to 1 1/2 or 2
- I have removed the seeds embedded outside of the strawberries because it seemed hard (sometimes the strawberries will have hard seeds at the outer layer if you find it so, you remove it)
- store in a dry clean glass jar
- Always use a dry spoon to scoop up
- Keep it in refridgrator, so that it stays fresh for long.
- whenever you get these strawberries in abundance, just make strawberry jam, strawberry popsicles, it is a way of preserving the fruit.
