Ingredients
  

  • 2 tbsp sesame oil (or coconut oil, or oil of your choice)
  • 1/4 tsp mustard seeds
  • 1/2 tsp urad dhal
  • 1 tbsp cashews
  • 1 cup rice (cooked)
  • 6 tsp curry leaves powder
  • salt to taste

Instructions
 

  • To begin with, heat 1 tbsp sesame oil in a pan
  • Secondly, splutter 1/4 tsp mustard seeds, then add 1/2 tsp urad dhal, 1 tbsp of cashews

  • saute it till urad dhal and cashew turns golden brown
  • now add 1 cup rice (cooked)

  • then add 6 tsp of curry leaves powder and salt, finally, mix well

Alterations:

I have used, urad dhal and cashews here, but also, peanuts (groundnuts) channa dhal also can be used

Note:

  • Moreover, As this rice made up of powder, it needs more oil than any other rice, so you can 2 tbsp of oil to makes the rice moistured
  • and also, if you are going to give it for kids, you can use ghee with oil, or entirely ghee
