protein rich breakfast | moong dal idli recipe

protein rich breakfast

protein rich breakfast | moong dal idli recipe is an easy recipe, filled with protein, and fiber. All the ingredients to make the batter is dal (ie) moong dal and urad dal along with fenugreek seeds. The final product turns into fluffy and soft idli. It is good for growing kids and toddlers. Using this batter, we can make dosa also. The taste of this moong dal idli (protein rich breakfast) differs from normal idli. It is better to switch to this idli once in a while to get a change of taste. However, you will definitely feel the uniqueness of its taste because it is completely made with dals

As a side dish we can use tomato kulambu, mint chutney, garlic chutney, kara chutney, like this.

I have used urad dal (black urad dal) with husk, as it has dietary fiber. But we can use the usual urad dal (without husk) too. Nowadays, In the market we are getting, fiber supplements, fiber powders to satisfy our fiber requirements. As this idli contains enough amount of fiber, we feel full for a long time after we ate.
