poha recipe | dahi poha | curd aval, one of the easiest recipes, and also it is a good bachelor recipe. It is a Maharashtrian food dish, they offer it for Lord Krishna on the occasion of Janmashtami, This dish is called Gopalkala in Maharashtra. Poha/Aval is a favorite food for Lord Krishna, and also the curd. So the dish made of curd and poha/ aval is very much special to offer this food to Lord Krishna. Even though it is a prasadham dish, I personally like this curd aval, because it does need only very little time to prepare. And spices like green chilly and ginger make this tasty to the core.
