easy dinner rolls recipe | easy recipes for beginners indian | pav recipe. It is bliss to make soft, pillowy, butter fragrance-rich buns at home that overtake the taste of the bakery. This is an effortless baking recipe in which you don’t need to knead the dough. simply mixing, proofing (aka raising), and baking is enough for this recipe. It is a perfect combination of creamy coconut milk chicken gravy.

This is an easy and anyone can make recipe, follow the amount of ingredients as given definetly you will get soft buns at the end.

Ingredients Method

Ingredients
  

Dry Ingredients:
  • 2½ cup all-purpose flour maida
  • 2 tsp Instant dried yeast
  • 1½ tbsp sugar
  • 1 tsp salt
Wet Ingredients:
  • 3/4 cup buttermilk
  • 1 egg
  • 2 tbsp melted butter (unsalted)

Method
 

Mixing the dry ingredients:
  1. In a mixing bowl, take 2½ cups of all-purpose flour, 2 tsp of Instant dried yeast, 1½ tbsp of sugar, 1 tsp of sugar.
  2. Mix it with a spoon and keep it aside.
Mixing all the wet Ingredients:
  1. In a bowl, take ¾ cup of buttermilk, 1 egg, and 2 tbsp of butter, mix well
Mixing both:
  1. Now pour in wet ingredients into dry ingredients, just mix it with a spatula, finally, we will get a sticky dough.
  2. apply butter all over the dough and the sideds of the bowl.
  3. cover it with cotton cloth
  4. Rest it for 1 – 1½ hours (proofing aka raising)
After Resting time:
  1. punch the dough down
  2. take off the dough and divide into 3 equal portions
  3. again divide each portion into 3 equal parts
  4. In total, we have 9 equal parts
  5. Apply some butter over the palm, take 1 part and press the dough down to make flat
  6. And then fold all the sides to make a ball, tuck, and roll
  7. place it over the baking sheet lined, greased pan
  8. place it over the preheated oven
  9. Bake it for 200 degrees/ 15-20 minutes (check with a skewer to know whether it is done or not, the skewer must be coming out clean when it is fully baked)
  10. place it over the wire rack to cool down, apply some butter over it

Mixing wet ingredients:
In a jar/ mixing bowl, take 3/4 cup of buttermilk, 2 tbsp of melted butter, 1 egg. Mix well until you get even liquid mixture.
Mixing Dry Ingredients:
In a large mixing bowl, take 2 1/2 cup of all-purpose flour, 2 tsp of Instant dried yeast, 1 1/2 tbsp of sugar, 1 tsp of salt

Mix all the dry Ingredients well
Mixing dry and wet ingredients altogether:
Now add in the wet ingredient mixture we made to dry the ingredient mixture in the bowl. Mix well, finally, we will get sticky dough (no need to knead). Add 1 tsp of melted butter over the dough and the sides of the bowl. apply the butter all over the dough and sides of the mixing bowl {all set for proofing aka raising}

Cover it with a towel and rest it for 1 hour or more (until it doubles in size)

After 1 hour, the dough doubled (the day was sunny in my area, so it easily got fermented in 1 hour)
Punch the dough down. Place it over the greased pad. apply butter all over your palm. Divide the dough into small equal-sized balls (I divide it into 9 equal balls) take one small portion. spread it using fingers. and tuck all the edges to the center. Finally, join and seal the point where we tuck in. (watch the video to clear understanding)

again rest it for 30 minutes

after 30 minutes the dough becoming like this.

brush it gently with milk.
Bake it for 200 degrees/ 15-20 minutes (check with a skewer to know whether it is done or not, the skewer must be coming out clean when it is fully baked)
place it over the wire rack. Apply butter over it. Take the pavs from the baking tray and cool it for 20 minutes before serving.

just cut the pav horizontally, toast it with butter and serve with pav bhajji masala or any side dish of your choice
